Owner, Master Stylist & Colorist Hi! I’m Matthew - Owner of Bixa Hair Studio. I have been in this amazing industry for 16 years and have been a business owner for 12 of those years. I graduated from the Aveda Institute San Antonio in 2009 and have loved Aveda since! Partnering with Aveda in my salon ensures we’re able to create gorgeous hair while keeping a low carbon footprint and working with clean and natural products. I’m a color specialist and very much enjoy creating beautiful hair color for my clients and especially love working with blondes. I opened Bixa to be able to create a relaxing, fun, and safe space for all people to be able to come in and enjoy their time here while getting their hair done.
